Until 1836, those counties were the edge of the frontier for the United States.
Southwest Archives is located adjacent to Old Washington Historic State Park at 201 Highway 195, Washington, Arkansas. We are eight miles from Hope, Arkansas. Take exit 30 off Interstate 30 and go west on Highway 278.
